Why CCC?

  1. Urban San Francisco Bay Area location: 32 km to San Francisco; 17 km to Berkeley; on-campus bus service to Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) commuter train
  2. Culturally diverse campus: Students identify as 42% Hispanic, 20% African American, 14% Asian, 11% White, 6% Filipino, and 6% Multi-Ethnic.
  3. Scholarships: International students are eligible for most after enrollment
  4. Average class size of 24 students
  5. 26 student clubs and organizations
  6. Concurrent enrollment at UC Berkeley, California State University - East Bay or Mills College.
  7. Presidential Award-winning Center for Science Excellence program offers support to students majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) fields.
  8. CCC was chosen in fall 2022 as a NASA Aerospace Scholars campus.
  9. Free bus tours to nearby universities such as UC Davis and San Francisco State University along with free plane trips (for 12 students) to tour Historically Black Colleges and Universities
  10. 50% of international transfers to 4-year institutions between 2011-2022 have enrolled at UCs.
